Procurement Specialist – Industrial Automation

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. You will also be responsible for managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing the supply chain to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  2. Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as sales, engineering, and operations to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
  4. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
  6. Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  8. Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals to achieve business goals and objectives.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and techniques.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across functions and levels of the organization.
  5. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  6. Experience leading and developing a team of supply chain professionals.
